This policy explains what information The Art of Fritz collects when you visit theartoffritz.com or get in touch with us, why we collect it, and the choices and rights you have. We've written it in plain language wherever we could — if anything is unclear, just reach out.
01Who we are
The Art of Fritz is a live-art and entertainment practice based out of Toronto, Canada, offering sand art, live painting, body art & makeup, airbrush tattoo, mural and branded live-art experiences. For the purposes of Canadian and international privacy law, The Art of Fritz is the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

02Information we collect
Our site does not have a contact form, account system, or checkout — so the information we collect is limited to what you choose to share with us directly, plus some basic technical data collected automatically by any website.
Information you give us directly
When you reach out through WhatsApp, by phone, or by email, we receive whatever you choose to include — typically your name, phone number and/or email address, and the details of your event or inquiry (dates, venue, type of show, budget, and similar). We use this solely to reply to you and, if a show goes ahead, to plan and deliver it.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting and any analytics tools we use may automatically log standard technical information when you visit — such as your general (city/region-level) location inferred from your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at the site. We do not use this to identify you personally.
03Cookies & tracking technologies
Cookies are small text files a website can place on your device. Here's exactly where we stand today, and what to expect as the site grows:
Right now: theartoffritz.com does not run advertising trackers, remarketing pixels, or third-party analytics beyond what may be strictly required for the site to function (for example, loading fonts and video players — see Sharing & third parties).
Coming soon: we plan to run advertising campaigns through Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads. Once those campaigns are live, we will use the associated cookies and pixels (such as the Meta Pixel and Google tags) to measure how our ads perform and, where permitted, to show our ads to people who have previously visited our site (remarketing). We will update this policy and add a cookie-consent banner before any such tracking goes live, so you can accept or decline non-essential cookies at that time.
You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings, and most browsers let you block third-party cookies entirely. Doing so will not prevent you from browsing our site.
04How we use information
- To respond to you — answering inquiries sent by WhatsApp, phone, or email, and quoting or booking a show.
- To deliver our services — planning and running the live-art experiences and events you book with us.
- To understand and improve the site — using aggregated, non-identifying technical data to see what's working and what isn't.
- To advertise responsibly — once Google/Meta ad campaigns are live, to measure their performance and reach relevant audiences, subject to your cookie choices.
- To meet legal obligations — such as bookkeeping and tax records for paid bookings.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for any purpose beyond what's described here.
05Sharing & third parties
We don't sell or rent your information. We do rely on a small number of third-party services to run the site and communicate with you, each of which processes limited data on our behalf:

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer (for example, if The Art of Fritz were to change ownership).
06Retention & security
We keep inquiry and booking information for as long as needed to deliver our services and meet legal/tax record-keeping requirements, and we delete or anonymize it when it's no longer needed. We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we hold, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
07Your privacy rights
Depending on where you're located, you have specific rights over your personal information. We honour these regardless of where you live, and you can exercise any of them by writing to admin@theartoffritz.com.
Canada — PIPEDA
Under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to access and correct it, and to withdraw consent for its use (subject to legal or contractual restrictions). If you have a concern we haven't resolved, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
European Economic Area & UK — GDPR
If you're located in the EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, to receive a copy of it in a portable format, and to object to certain processing (including for direct marketing). You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority at any time.
California — CCPA / CPRA
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (as those terms are defined by California law) — including for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not sell personal information, and once ad tracking is live, will honour Global Privacy Control and equivalent opt-out signals where applicable.
08International visitors & data transfers
The Art of Fritz is based in Toronto, Canada, and our information is primarily processed and stored in Canada. If you're visiting from outside Canada, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in Canada or in other countries where our service providers (such as our hosting provider) operate, which may have different data protection laws than your home country. Where required, we rely on the safeguards those providers make available for international transfers.
09Children's privacy
Our site and services are directed at adults booking event and entertainment services, not at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at admin@theartoffritz.com and we will delete it.
10Google & Facebook / Meta
The Art of Fritz is an independent business and is not part of, operated by, affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Google LLC or Meta Platforms, Inc. (including Facebook and Instagram). "Google," "Facebook," "Instagram," "Meta," and related marks belong to their respective owners. We may use Google Ads and Meta Ads as advertising platforms to promote our services and, where those platforms are named in this policy, it is solely to describe the third-party tools we use — not to claim any affiliation, partnership, or endorsement.
11Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time — for example, when we launch advertising campaigns and add the associated cookie disclosures. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page whenever we do, and material changes will be reflected here before they take effect. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
