ARTIST BIO
Based out of Toronto, I have been a professional artist for over 20 years. To me, art has always been about the experience both personally as well as professionally. I am interested in the energy generated between art and the observer/experiencer.
With a focus on entertainment, my energy has been invested in theatrical make up and in creating interesting art based shows for the event industry. In doing so, I have been privileged to have worked in hundreds of shows, both big and small, with many major brands and institutions. I have performed all over Canada and the US and as far as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where I literally brought sand (the sand art show) to the desert.
My journey as an artist has been vast and diverse and I look forward to every show, every art piece, every connection, and every adventure still to come.
SAND ART SHOW
Sand animation is a very artistic show which showcases the skill, artistry and imagination the performer. It is a story told through imagery skillfully hand created out of loose sand. There are no “tricks” it can only be as good as the artist performing it.
It is a very entertaining and versatile show that can be performed in different configurations so as to even be interactive with the audience.
Besides the live performance aspect of the show, this art form lends itself to the creation of videos and concept/story telling that are unlimited in scope.
LIVE PAINTING PERFORMANCE
Live painting as a performance show can be done in as many ways as there are mediums and surfaces.
live art can be done on a canvas in the traditional fashion, but it can also be done with a spinning canvas as with the shows for the Vancouver Olympic torch relay.
It can be done on LED “light” canvases as with the Cirque du Soleil VIP pre show events.
Or it can be done using exotic mediums (coffee, wine, ash, etc) and all kinds of materials.
MAKE UP / BODY ART
I have an enormous portfolio of body paintings done for hundreds of brands and special events. From armored Terracotta Warrior statues to Honeycombed dancers for Jack Daniels, Body painting is a fun and effective way to engage audiences at all types of events.
Halloween and theatrical make up for businesses is a fun way for engagement and branding as seen with Bacardi Canada as well as with events for the LGBTQ+ community.
Halloween week makeup is always fully booked months in advance. Please remember to book early to avoid disappointment
TEMPORARY AIRBRUSH TATTOO STATIONS
These are, hands downs, the best temporary tattoos currently available for events. Our system is extremely fast allowing for very quick line ups and a tattoo that can be done and dried in seconds.
All tattoo stencils are hand cut allowing for precision in design and branding. Logos, brands or specific themes can be easily accommodated with a quick turn around time.
This is a very popular activity at all kinds of private events, sporting events and events of all kinds. We are always busy from the start of the event right to the end. People of all ages love them.
